FAQ’s and What To Expect

You’re Invited!

It is our deep desire that your first visit to Wellsville Full Gospel Church is positive, encouraging, and life-impacting. To that end, we’d like to give you a quick summary of what you may expect when you stop by.

From our pastor

We understand you may have questions before joining us. We’ve pulled together answers to some common questions on this page. Our hope is to dispel any anxiety you may have, aiming for your visit to be both positive and relaxing as well as a life-changing experience.

What To Expect

The Sunday service begins at 10:30am, but you are invited to join us between 9:30 and 10:30 for morning prayer and fellowship.

What to Wear

Our church family comes together with no formal dress code. Some enjoy the opportunity to dress up formally while others prefer the comfort of the casual clothes they wear every day. You are welcome to come as you are, with no expectation for anything else!

Upon Arrival

For those attending for the first time, rest assured, we won’t put you on the spot by asking you to stand up. Feel free to explore the church when you arrive. Our ushers will be at the door to assist you. Please take a moment to fill out the contact card in our welcome pack.

The Service

At the beginning of our service, we worship God with contemporary praise songs that glorify the Lord. The scriptures encourage raising hands (Ps 134:2), clapping (Ps 47:1) and even dancing (ps 149:3 as expressive worship. Prophetic messages sometimes occur as the Holy Spirit moves in the service. After a message from the scriptures, the service concludes around 12 pm. Personal prayer is always offered at the close of service.

The Message

Every week our Pastor or guest speaker has a message to share with the congregation. Each message is thoughtfully and prayerfully prepared and we hope it will result in challenging you to discover God and His love for you in your life!

Infants & Children

Our children’s ministry is available during the message. Our nursery for newborns though kindergarten is cared for by our loving volunteers. Our nursery has creative toys, books, snacks, a changing table and a kid’s bathroom.

Following the Service

When the service concludes, our prayer team is available to pray for any needs, physical or spiritual. Before you leave, we encourage you to introduce yourself to our pastor or one of our leadership team. We love to meet and greet our guests!
